Members of the FAM Committee collaborated with TAG's Jackie Huang to develop this month's Lunch & Learn: Infertility Diagnosis & Treatment. This topic reflects our continuing creative pursuits in the realms of work, family, and member support. Event description:

Presentation followed by Q&As. After will be a small breakout with members who wish to share or hear about member experiences with infertility. *Partners welcome. -- The decision to start a family is a joyous milestone for most couples, but can lead to disappointment if pregnancy isn’t achieved. While infertility affects a small percentage of couples, the risk can increase with age. UCLA Health Ob/Gyn, Dr. Connie Cheng, discusses the common causes of infertility, when to seek help, and the latest treatments available.

Family Leave is GOOD FOR COMPANIES & SOCIETY

These Thursday TED Talks highlight how

supporting families brings more equality & diversity to the workplace...

Parenting is Real Work:

What if we started treating parenting like the real work it is? Podcast host and CEO Angela Garbes details how working families have evolved -- and how companies haven't -- and gives insight into what parents really need from their colleagues and workplaces.

Paternity Leave for Dads benefits EVERYONE:

Paternity leave has many benefits for dads, their partners and their babies -- but did you know it also has surprising benefits for companies? This is what author Shu Matsuo Post learned from his seven transformative months of paternity leave -- and he says it can create more equal and diverse workplaces and even boost productivity.
